Parking & Getting Here
Where can I park at Christchurch Town Hall?
There is no onsite parking at the Christchurch Town Hall, however there are several public car parks you can view a carpark map here.There is a drop off zone in front of the building on Kilmore Street.
Where can I park at Christchurch Arena?
Extensive carparking facilities are available in our carpark on Jack Hinton Drive. You can access the carpark via Wright’s Road, Whiteleigh Avenue, or Twigger Street
Where can I park at the Air Force Museum?
Free parking is available at the Air Force Museum carpark, located at 45 Harvard Avenue. Disability parking and bus parking is also available.
Where can I park at Hagley Oval & Pavilion?
Hagley Oval & Pavilion shares a carpark with the Hagley Sport Centre. Limited parking is available outside the venue (with a 180 minute maximum), and metered parking is available on Riccarton Ave and the surrounding streets. Please note that during International Cricket matches, these car parks are closed to the public.
Where can I park at Orangetheory Stadium on a game day?
Parking is very limited in and around the stadium on event days, particularly when events are on at the Arena or Raceway. Parking at the Stadium for rugby is only available by pre-purchasing a parking pass. Please ensure you check the What's On listings on www.vbase.co.nz for event specifics and additional parking info. Please note we do not recommend using the Tower Junction complex for parking.
What public transport options are available to get me to Christchurch Arena/Orangetheory Stadium?
Various buses stop near the corner of Whiteleigh Ave/Jack Hinton Drive. The Orbiter, 120 (Burnside/Spreydon) and 40 (Middleton/Wainoni) times and routes can be found by visiting Metro Info.
Events & Ticketing
Can I take photographs during a show?
Every show has different terms as dictated by the show’s Promoter, but often photographs or recordings of any nature are not permitted inside the Arena.
Can I take my baby into a show?
Some shows offer “baby seats” where infants are permitted to enter for free, as long as they sit on a parent/caregiver’s lap. Please call 0800 TICKETEK for specific show information.
Can I bring my own food/drink to a show?
No, you are not permitted to bring any food/drink into a show. Food and drink are available for purchase via our Retail Outlets, and free water is available at various locations around the Arena.
What food/beverages are available pre-show at Christchurch Arena?
Various food/drink options are available for purchase via our Retail Outlets during shows. We supply both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and free water is provided via drinking fountains around the Arena.
What are the opening hours of Ticketek at the Arena?
The Ticketek Box Office is open event days for door sales two hours prior to the performance start time and will remain open until interval only.

Do you have baby changing facilities at the Arena?
Baby Change facilities are located in the accessible toilets of the bathrooms located at Doors 2 & 3 at Christchurch Arena.
Do you have baby changing facilities at the Stadium?
At Orangetheory Stadium, Baby Change facilities are located in the accessible toilets at each end of the West Stand.

Christchurch Town Hall
Hearing loop
Christchurch Town Hall has hearing loop facilities in the Douglas Lilburn Auditorium and James Hay Theatre. For special seating requirements such as hearing difficulties or impaired mobility please contact Ticketek on 0800 842 538.
Wheelchair access
The Christchurch Town Hall is wheelchair accessible and has wheelchair allocated seating in both the Douglas Lilburn Auditorium and James Hay Theatre. Guest access
We have lift access for Guests to the Gallery Level of the Auditorium and the Mezzanine Level of the James Hay Theatre. Circle Level access in the James Hay is by stair access only.

We have wheelchair access at Christchurch Arena. Wheelchair show seats are also available. Call Ticketek on 0800 TICKETEK for wheelchair ticket availability for specific shows.

Mobility parking is available onsite via the Wrights Road entry. Vehicles must have a valid and appropriate Mobility Pass visible.
The wheelchair and companion seating area is located in the lower section of the West Stand. To book wheelchair seating call 03 379 8300 ext 724.
