singers for this concert performance of Wagner's astounding Die
Walküre.
Very rarely are New Zealand audiences treated to Wagner's epic
music dramas, here the timeless mountains bear witness to a famous
act of compassion and betrayal. Full of love, infidelity,
abandonment and incest, Die Walküre features some of the composer's
most memorable music, including the awe-inspiring Ride of the
Valkyries.
