Westpac Arena is one of New Zealand's largest purpose-built indoor sports and entertainment venues, only ten minutes from Christchurch central city. Built in 1998 this versatile venue has hosted many international sporting events, artists, exhibitions and gala dinners.

Westpac Arena has a maximum seating capacity of almost 9,000 and can be configured to provide comfortable seating with superb views for any number of events.The Arena has 4,000 square metres of flat floor space with additional space available in Back-of-House and concourse areas. There is also the ability to add marquees on either side of the venue to create even more room.
The Arena is an easy access venue with ample height clearance and loading room. All of this flexible, functional space is complemented by 3,000 car parks.
Match fit and ready to play
Behind the scenes are six team changing rooms, four performers' dressing rooms, television production platforms and a dedicated fenced service area with space for outside broadcaster vans. A four sided LED graphics scoreboard is positioned above Centre Court.

This multi-purpose arena has a gala event capacity of up to 2,500. Features include on site kitchens and well appointed conveniences. The simple design, flexible space and high ceiling of Westpac Arena allows themes to be created easily.
