The following are the venues that are best suited for conferences and meetings:

Christchurch Convention Centre

Convention / Exhibition Hall & Individual Halls | Capacity up to 2,200 people. more
A carpeted, flat-floor area of 1,864m2 which is divisible into two or three smaller halls. The halls are pillarless and suitable for major plenary sessions, exhibitions, gala dinners, trade shows and a myriad of other events.

Meeting Rooms | Capacity up to 180 people. more
Seven rooms, some with retractable walls, all situated on the first floor directly above the Pre-function area. Suitable for break-out sessions, cocktail functions and small meetings.

Christchurch Town Hall for Performing Arts

Auditorium | Capacity up to 2,584 people. more
The Auditorium is a large oval-shaped theatre with a comfortable and configurable tiered seating system allowing various room plan arrangements and designs. It is a popular venue for larger plenary sessions and a dynamic and stunning setting for themed gala dinners.

James Hay Theatre | Capacity up to 1,006 people. more
The James Hay is a sophisticated theatre featuring a proscenium arch and comfortable tiered seating made up of an upper and lower gallery. It is ideal for seminars and conference plenary sessions.

Limes Room | Capacity up to 560 people. more
The Limes Room is a large multi-purpose function room. It is situated on the first floor with floor to ceiling glass on two sides overlooking Victoria Square.

Conference Room 1&2 | Capacity up to 220 people. more
This conference room can be divided into two separate rooms.

Cambridge Room | Capacity up to 250 people. more

Samoan Room | Capacity up to 25 people. more

AMI Stadium

AMI Stadium has a variety of function rooms boasting panoramic views of the sporting oval. From the impressive Scenic Circle Lounge which stretches the entire length of one stand to more intimate function spaces such as the Nor’west Club. AMI Stadium is an entirely functional, yet completely unique pitch for your event to be played upon.

Scenic Circle Lounge | Capacity up to 450 people. more
This versatile lounge is situated on level three of the PKMC Stand. A modern room with impressive views of both the sporting oval and Christchurch city.

The Suites | Capacity up to 40 people. more  
Suited for small meetings, breakouts and coctail partys

Nor'West Club | Capacity up to 60 people. more
The Nor’west Club offers great views of the sporting oval and is ideal for cocktail functions, product launches, presentations and boardroom meetings.
